Sopers Hole — also known as West End — is a deep, well-protected harbor at Tortola’s western tip and the practical stop on this end of the island. A full-service marina handles slips, fuel, and water, RiteWay covers provisioning, and customs and the ferry dock are both here. Pusser’s, Omar’s Cafe, Omar’s Restaurant, and the Admiral’s Club line the waterfront, and the Admiral’s Club pizza has a real following among locals. The painted buildings around the harbor are the version of the islands most people picture. A short taxi over the hill reaches Sebastian’s on the water and other local favorites.
