Cow Wreck sits on Anegada’s north shore, surrounded by reef — you do not take a boat here. Taxi, rent a Moke, or drive over from Setting Point. What you get is one of the best beaches in the BVI with two bars on it, Cow Wreck Beach Bar and Tipsy by Anne. This is a sit-in-the-water-with-a-drink beach, and it is worth the trip across the island.
Good to know
- Reach it by land from Setting Point — taxi, Moke, or rental car. The surrounding reef makes a boat approach a bad idea.
- Cow Wreck Beach Bar and Tipsy by Anne are both right on the sand.
- Excellent swimming and snorkeling straight off the beach — bring gear with you.
- Plan for the day. It is a long way back to the boat if you forget something.
