Loblolly is on Anegada’s north shore and reached by land rather than by boat. Flash of Beauty sits up in the trees just off the beach, out of the wind. The sand runs for miles and the snorkeling straight off it is some of the best in the BVI — which makes this the right stop when half the crew wants to swim the reef and the other half wants to sit still. It works for both.
Good to know
- Reach it by taxi, Moke, or rental car from Setting Point. Not a boat destination.
- Snorkel straight off the beach — the reef is close in and worth a couple of hours.
- Flash of Beauty is tucked into the trees and stays out of the wind.
- Bring your own gear; there is not much out here beyond the bar.
