Trellis Bay is best known for its full moon party — plenty of places have tried to copy it, and this is still one of the best in the islands. It sits on Beef Island, connected to Tortola by the bridge, which makes it an easy spot for crew swaps and guest pickups. Trellis Bay Market handles provisioning, Jeremy’s Kitchen and the Loose Mongoose cover dinner, and local artisans keep shops along the beach. Forty-nine first-come moorings sounds like plenty until a full moon, when the bay fills fast. None of them are part of the BoatyBall program.

- Full moon nights fill the bay. Marina Cay and Scrub Island are the backups, and a shuttle runs between all three so you don’t have to dinghy.
- On Beef Island, an easy road trip from Tortola — a practical choice for crew changes and guest pickups.
- All 49 moorings are first-come and not in the BoatyBall program — you pay ashore, not in the app. Arrive early on a full moon or have a backup picked out.
